So, it all started in 2021 when I heard the term Functional Medicine from someone I follow on Instagram. I started my search and found an Angel in form of Smriti. To give a background, I have been struggling with gut issues since I was a couple of years old. All my life I actually lived with an inflamed gut which resulted in multiple issues in my body - weakness, muscle pain, sinus, low immunity, bloating, just to name few. I learned about Smriti on Instagram, and I started going through her posts and everything was making sense to me. I had this gut feeling (even though I was struggling with gut issues 😉 …..) that she is THE ONE. I started reading more about functional medicine and finally decided in 2022 that I have to enrol myself in the program. That’s when my healing journey started. Initial days were difficult because of changes with the food and overall lifestyle, but I believe when you have determination and the right person to guide you, tough days really get over soon. Smriti and her team really know the domain well; the best part is that they’re busting hell lot of myths which we have been following since ever. The kind of support they give you during the program is what keeps you going. Another thing which I really liked about Smriti & team is that they will customize everything based on your eating habits, while giving you alternatives if you don’t like anything in specific, and not to forget the kind of supplements they recommend are the best quality supplements you can ever have, and they really work, (here you have to ignore the price point when it comes to healing your body). Ohh, there is one more thing (well…there are plenty actually) is that they can help you to get rid of the medicines you’re on from long time, with just the power of right FOOD. Isn’t it amazing? I started noticing changes in my overall health in a month’s time after following my diet religiously, I didn’t go off the track, and that’s what matters the most. Key is to be consistent and understand why certain recommendations are, along with how it can help you in maintaining your overall health. My energy levels increased, bloating is gone, I’m able to do a lot of work throughout the day without getting tired, and it happened with the little changes in diet and lifestyle. I’m still in the recovery phase as my issues were multiple and chronic at the same time. Just another few months and I’m sure my overall health will get better. I really wish people like Smriti can get more exposure as they are doing such a great job by educating us for our healthy life. We all can do our bit, by recommending her work in our respective circles. I have already started doing that, and my family and friends have started paying more attention to her posts and videos, which is a good sign at the start. I was almost on the verge of switching from Allopathy to Homeopathy when I chanced upon your Instagram profile. I said to myself that instead of trying different drugs, let me just give diet another shot and I couldn't be happier! There were 2-3 health issues that I was dealing with, the main one being irritable bowel syndrome. Additionally, I also wanted to regulate my blood pressure and cholesterol levels through a healthier lifestyle and with reduced dependencies on drugs. The entire experience with you was very professional. Calls were scheduled well in advance. Discussions were always to the point and focused on addressing key issues. The main takeaway for me was that food has the biggest influence on your health and fitness. Instead of changing doctors or finding alternate modes of treatment, one should focus on having a diet that provides sufficient nutrients and systematically improves your overall health. The main change that I saw was with my IBS. My digestion and bowel movements got regulated 2 weeks into the program. Additionally, I started feeling better and in 4 weeks’ time, I managed to reduce the intake of medicines as well (of course, after consulting with my doctor). It has been a very good experience and I look forward to keeping the momentum going at least for the next two months."

First of all, I would just like to thank you, for getting me to the level where I know what my body needs v/s what my body wants . We are so hooked on our wants, that we end up ignoring the needs. My journey with you started three months back when I was struggling with gut related issues. Actually I have been struggling for the last 5 years. I only approached you three months back, after trying every form of medicine, from allopathy to homoeopathy to ayurveda. First 14 days were tough for me since I had to be off from certain things that I loved, but then it got easier. My body just felt energetic even without my coffee. "Due to Covid and the effects of lockdown, my mental health issues started surfacing. I changed my Instagram followings from mom bloggers to health insights and self-help pages. There in I saw Smriti’s page. Her posts instantly clicked as she was addressing unspoken issues. Reaching to her was an intuitive decision. Smriti understood my history and mental health issues. She guided and supported me throughout. Her plans did not refrain me from eating. She stressed on the importance of eating clean and intermittent fasting. We started with proper lab tests and evaluations and she convinced me to start supplements as a way to replenish my body, as I had been junking my way through mental health issues. Simultaneously I also started therapy where I was advised to meet a psychiatrist and start on anti-depressants. On the advice of Smriti I refrained from the use of the same as Smriti mentioned that they have long term side effects. "I was suffering from GERD for almost a year. I tried everything- allopathic to homoeopathic to ayurvedic medicines. I even changed my lifestyle, started eating very light food, but nothing seemed to help me as much. I had almost given up when I met Smriti and my objective was to know the right kind of food for me to get rid of GERD, at least most of it. By God's grace, I was not facing any major health issues when I decided to work with Smriti, although I did have major sweet cravings all the time. I found out about Smriti through Instagram, and found her focus on gut health and reversing chronic illnesses through lifestyle and nutrition interesting. I had been working through a number of health conditions (sinus, allergies, digestive, blood sugar related) and hadn’t tried functional medicine/nutrition. My overall experience of working with Smriti was great. Things that stood out as great learnings for me 1) To cut out inflammation or chronic conditions, it is often more important to first focus on cutting out harmful foods/ingredients(veg oils, refined sugar/flour) much more than focusing on what to eat. 2) The time you sleep and wake up is as important as getting 7-8 hours of sleep a day. 3) Smriti worked through an excellent process of elimination to get to the bottom of any and all symptoms I was seeing, uncovered some uncommon conditions, and suggested sustainable solutions for it. My immunity and gut health has significantly improved in the two months I worked with her, and I’ve developed habits and an understanding of nutrition and lifestyle that I am confident will stay with me permanently. Working with Smriti has been a great learning experience and I’d definitely recommend her to friends and family.
